Two weeks until I hit the Big F. The smaller F was enough to contend with, and now I must contend with the one that indicates middle-age. Gifts are arriving at the door and I am not permitted to handle them! As long as there is a 50th anniversary vinyl copy of Elton John's 1971 album Madman Across The Water, I shall be satisfied. Compared to his other albums of the time it is a little harder to digest. It was also the only album of his that my dad owned.
Our gardener has been absent due to illness, so all I can do is water things and hope they live. She has been stocking up on bulbs and stuff, so more colourful items will be popping out of the ground in all good time.
