Windows' coming home

Whereas Windows XP utilised the lovely Californian location Napa Valley for its desktop wallpaper, the forthcoming Windows 7 happens to feature a shot of good old Birmingham. For those that don't recognise what's shown above, that is the Selfridges building at the newly built Bullring in Birmingham - a big, blue carbuncle covered in metal discs - which just so manages to look like boobies in a sequin dress!

Still, it's nice that they have chosen to feature some UK locations for their new wallpaper collection.

As well as catering for the new-fangled Retina™ display, this site is compliant with current HTML5 and CSS3 web standards, and is also fully responsive (which is sure to please them SEO bods over at Google). You are therefore advised to use an up-to-date browser. Ye Olde Oake IE6 and Netscape 4.78 just will not cut it anymore. That said, even IE11 may also bring shame and tribulation down on your viewing experience. As for Microsoft Edge™, who knows what that will bring.
